Personal Profile

I grew up in Shanxi Province in the middle north of China. I received my bachelor's degree in English Education at Dalian University of Foreign Languages; my master's degree in Foreign Linguistics and Applied Linguistics in Zhejiang University; and my doctoral degree in Foreign Language and Literature, again from Zhejiang University. I have been working as a research faculty at Institute of Quantitative Linguistics, Faculty of Linguistic Sciences, Beijing Language and Culture University, since July 2022.

My research fields include dependency grammar, quantitative linguistics and computational cognitive science. I adopt large-scale corpora and interdisciplinary methods to study the universalities and peculiarities of human language syntax and their cognitive basis. I have published a number of research articles in international academic journals, e.g., Lingua and Journal of Psycholinguistic Research
